Sylvan Learning Center

Sylvan Learning of Sioux Falls, a locally owned franchise, is a supplemental education company offering tutoring and academic support to K-12 (pre-kindergarten through 12th grade) students.

Sylvan emphasizes a “personalized learning” approach: before tutoring begins, students take an assessment (their “Insight™ Assessment”) to determine academic needs and skill gaps.

Based on that assessment, Sylvan creates individualized learning plans tailored to each student’s pace and needs.
Lessons are delivered by Sylvan Teachers at a 3:1 ratio using Sylvan’s proprietary technology (platform called SylvanSync) to enhance learning and track progress.

Sylvan’s mission is to help children gain academic confidence, achieve measurable improvement in grades and skills, and foster a lifelong love of learning.
